Twenty five "ladies riding astride" participanting in a procession to the Prospect Oval for a carnival in aid of the Australian Soldiers Repatriation Fund. The Register newspaper of 20 November 1916 reported "Punctually at 2 o'clock a long procession moved away from the North Road, along Lefevre terrace, Brougham place, O'Connell street and the Prospect road to the Prospect Oval. ... Then followed a cavalcade of 25 ladies riding astride and collection on route."

Building Fund (Returned Soldiers' Association, which later became the R.S.L.), the Wattle Day League, Soldiers' Home, Children's Patriotic League, Nursing Society, and the Y.M.C.A., as well as official peace badges marking the end of the war and various miscellaneous badges including a Christian Endeavour convention, fundraising carnivals and memorial gardens. View of the 6th floor office before the escalators were installed, looking towards Rundle Street. In the room there are lots of desks and chairs, the back wall has a shelving unit for all the files and there is a smaller office to the right. One wall of the office has the staff time cards and punch clock on it. Builders scaffold is in place to start work on the additional floor above.
